Planting Seeds

People ask me, “What age group did you write to in My Little David?”  

“To all age groups,” I reply.

            Although My Little David is categorized as a Christian children’s book, grandparents and parents have told me they enjoyed reading it to children.  They felt it was more than reading time - but a time of sharing.  I think this is because the main character in the book is a third grader, and the oldest character is in his early seventies. Of course, good, clean humor can bind all ages, but a word from Father God resonates in the souls of all His children—cradle through eternity. 

I love the review about a little boy following his mother around and reading My Little David to her. They both laughed as Sam and Grandad shared adventures and fun and hopefully & prayerfully absorbed the words of wisdom Grandad shared from his little red Bible. When a child reaches for the door of your heart, listen -  God may be planting a seed!
